Low power lasers are used for fine shallow engraving and marking, where the required depth can be achieved through multiple engravings, and their lower energy consumption makes them suitable for fine processing with high heat affected zone requirements.

High power lasers are used where greater depth and high speed processing is required, such as deep engraving, large area cutting and high efficiency production, capable of handling thicker materials and meeting the requirements of high production speed and high accuracy.
